I've been gone for a minute but I'm back to business!! What a weekend I had, which happened to be a 4-day weekend along with Valentine's Day. Now while I personally am a hopeless romantic, I haven't had a more amazing weekend than the one I just shared.
Now a little monkey wrench tried to wreck my weekend but my guy wouldn't allow it, and thank goodness for him. He gave me the room to be upset for a little while when we discovered someone has been stealing my photos and taking credit for my work. I didn't know whether to be flattered or insulted at first but insulted, disgusted, frustrated, and flat out pissed off won for a moment.
But as we were driving to our destination (a secret to me, a surprise from him) it started to subside when I saw the lovely mountains of the Poconos,I had never been there! And it was amazing! Our wonderful weekend started in the city on Friday night to see "Misery" on Broadway with Bruce Willis and Laurie Metcalf...boy it was just as scary and creepy as the movie. When she hobbled him I screamed...LOL! Saturday morning when the wrench was being thrown right along with those frigid winds and cold, the mountains looked more and more beautiful as we got closer to our destination.
We, I mean HE had plans of taking me skiing, snow tubing, and snowmobiling but the way the WIND WAS SET UP, we went to the local food town got some groceries and watched the Walking Dead Marathon...I had been missing it and I couldn't believe GLEN WAS STILL ALIVE, I KNEW IT!! I had a blast doing things on the compound and SHOPPING! I bought my first KATE SPADE bag, (I almost passed out in the store almost EVERYTHING WAS PINK!)
Now I had no idea where I was going, he just said pack a bag...I packed EVERYTHING!! These are three looks that I packed...needless to say he was pleased with them all. This weekend will go down as the first of many to come...take a look at my amazing weekend, what a lucky woman I am indeed!!

Keep it Sassy, Classy, Sexy, Period.
Lots of Love

ReplyDeleteHey Lulu, I'm so happy for you. Continue to enjoy your blessings and sharing your talents. Peace and love
ReplyDeleteLoving that white top and your new bag. The photos look great, and I love the look of your blog!
ReplyDeleteI just "found" your blog! I'm in the Mimi G group on FB and sew vicariously through you and the other members who post. I've been sewing for 50 years (that sounds crazy) but lately I'm concentrating on writing so my sewing room is in dire need of organizing. Maybe when I'm finished with my latest assignment. Anyway! I wanted to say I live south of the Poconos in the Lehigh Valley so you were out my way, girl! Did you go to the Crossings Outlets? I NEED to get there soon. Glad you had a great Valentine's weekend and hope you squashed those image thieves for good!
